i mean it worked before so i had this idea 5 years ago when i stopped playing ddnet

Penalty and bonus tiles change your time, so this can’t really be used in a map tho, no?

time penalty tiles are a huge hack that shouldn't be used by normal maps: they distort the otherwise pretty comparable ranks

stuff like the DDNet's bot command just break with them unless you add special handling for these maps

i would make the times compareable in my map

because everything you put on can be reversed with bonus tiles

headbot did that with geometry dash map
