For setting config options in autoexec_server.cfg, is there anything i need to do after editing the text file? I'm setting sv_rcon_password and it's still generating a random password. It's not commented out

I'm using the steam app and finding the file in \steamapps\ on windows, doesn't appear to be another config file in %APPDATA% where some other stuff is stored

nvm, i guess you just have to make a copy to \data\

@tela try using the DDNet-Server.exe inside your ddnet folder instead of "Run server" from the main menu

ok I got it, I had a myServerconfig.cfg that was being sourced instead of autoexec_server

server.exe sources ddnet\autoexec_server.cfg, and 'run server' in the main menu sources ddnet\data\autoexec_server.cfg

Yeah, happens consistently for me. I have two config files, one in \ddnet\ and one in \ddnet\data, running the server via the exe uses \ddnet\ config and via the main menu uses \ddnet\data. If I don't have one in \ddnet\data and run through the GUI, it uses a default config
