basically when i have ddnet client in focus it plays low volume high freq noise

I don't think you need special access to the dev channel, you'll need to ask the code wizards and not us

im sure ppl here can help me fix this if it is fixable

is the noise just some high pitched sound

and muting the app as a whole from there doesnt get rid of it

no im not really familiar, you mgiht have to wait until a dev can answer

@M Emile that sounds like your GPU's coils are whining you can try to decrease the physical sound volume of your speaker and increase the windows sound volume instead also try setting a GPU limit gfx_refresh_rate 1000 or whatever you like

thx, had figured out the freq was tied too game refresh rate and fixed it by capping but now i know why it was happening thx

Hello, can someone tell me what happened to DDNet Zcatch? There's no more ranks, no more points as it used to be. It was a funny mod, i remember some days agoo there was always 1/2 server full of people, i think the people don't play it anymore because there is no rank system working

@SirVivi i think people stopped playing even before the rank system. and since there are no players I'm not that motivated to fix it

Can we make a petition about it? i spoke with many players in the game and they want zcatch ddnet back ^^

@SirVivi All DDNet zCatch servers have working ranks again. Should I remove the old ranks?
