just to be clear, you downloaded the first link, then did the stuff in the second link
it overwrote the current driver and you are now on the new driver?
yo i got a few questions
what is a blocker or block map
what is blmap/fokkernauts playground
how to ninjadash thru the freeze without katana
thanks yall i keep joining these maps and idfk what to do
Blocking is the act of preventing someone from playing, usually by throwing them in freeze. Blocker is a person who blocks. Block maps are where you are supposed to block, blocking is not allowed on normal DDNet servers. Report blockers on the discord.

Blmap is a rather popular block map. fokkonaut's playground is @fokkonaut's server, it has 128 player support and is where he tests out many things. Not quite sure what one does there but I think it has small minigames and stuff
14:51
You cant ninjadash thru freeze without getting frozen whether you have katana(ninja) or not
So we only check for tile collision on specific points on the line, that's why you need to sit kinda 4 blocks away, to get the freeze tile between 2 of these points
@Xyon4 yes there are PvP servers and other minigames, you can see all of them by going to the Internet tab in the Browser and typing in "DDRace" in the exclude bar, like so:

(This will exclude Block servers which are technically not parkour btw)
The reason for me, as well as my ex-teammate and I'm pretty sure for every other player that leaves TW for a long time
is maps
22:58
I'll explain
22:59
When you first start playing TW you don't care much about what map you gonna play. You just join a server with most players and play with them
23:00
The map on those servers is 100% something long enough, fairly faily, big enough for t0 and so on, doesn't matter
23:01
So you play it, you like it, you gain skill
23:02
And now you start to play maps on your own. With dummy or with real teammate if you have one. You just randomly pick a map by calling "random map unfinished by vote caller" and play it. If you don't like the map from the start already you just vote for another one(edited)
23:02
Everything is cool, you get points, play, have fun, improve skill... UNTIL
4
23:05
There is not enough maps anymore. So you was playing novice, voting for random maps, skipping maps you don't like (probably total shitmaps) and finish fun maps
23:07
Now, when you finished, let's say 60% of the novice maps there is no more to play
23:07
Other 40% is divided by half. 20% is total shit that nobody wants ever play
2

2
23:08
And the other 20, or even less, is just maps you personally don't like
23:09
Sorry, There is also 10% more normal, good maps
23:09
Which you cannot dicover, because there is 5 times more bad maps
The overall idea that you didn't let me tell you is that we need an extra server category for all the shitmaps, which are not fun to play. So when you choose to play here you know what you're going for(edited)
(A lot of brutals btw, didn't finish them yet)(edited)
23:28
I would suggest adding an optional voting after the player has finished a map. From 1 to 10 how fun was it to play.
But in that case admins should store player's IPs
