ofc race maps didn't use freeze tiles back then, so releasing race maps with freeze tiles would be weird
but maybe we should only have nade stuff in race because then you could make the argument that all gores maps like sorgores and that one themix gores maps belongs in race too
Just because its not similiar to other maps doesn't make it non-race, you could say the same about run_aim. some people (racers) still say maps like that where u have to "buguse" edge, aren't race maps

Yes there are maps that are like that. And just because you're used to the categories that the maps are categorized in by the DDNet Admins doesn't make it true that they belong to that category. Back in the day they were put there bcs there was no "Race" Category, Fly out of Hell like u mentioned was on rly old race servers before.

since on ddnet some maps is more of a "can u finish" not "how fast can u go and how many times do u want to retry the start map to get the perfect double"
