@Learath2 I want to tell you that I've reconsidered. I was full of enthusiasm when proposed idea of moderation bot first, but didn't knew it was implemented before me and nobody used it. It seems that you've tested my hypothesis before and nothing I've proposed this time was different. So nothing leads me to think this time it will be different. 1. I've proposed rate-limiting by ip and networks, but I've heard that it was rate-limited so it's not new or not effective 2. If that would not work then registering somewhere (supposed teeworlds reg system, social net) which will would be required to limit spam further is mostly the same as registering in the discord itself. 3. Most important for me was this: "there wasn't any single useful report". So people will not use it and that means that I was trying to solve non-existing, made up problem. That means that even if we will invent effective spam protection there are literally no end users which will benefit from it. I don't want to invest my time and time of other people into re-implementing something that didn't worked before with a plan which contains nothing new. Thanks for a discussion. I've got more info and time to think about it. It seems to me now that a problem I was going to solve has a working solution already (reporting via discord after registering there). And although for a newcomer like me it didn't looked as the best solution at first, but maybe it is reasonable. (edited)
