do i have to have portforwarding to open the server? i opened DDNet-Server.exe and changed some settings on the cfg.

port forwarding is not enough - you also need public IP address from your internet provider

my internet provider puts everyone behind symmetric NAT (the worst one) unless you give them additional money

My ddnet just crash for no reason i redownloaded it. I put the graphics as low as possible and it's still crashing
