Thanks for the help yesterday. It turned out that problem is not reproducible with 0.7 client, it's just a dummy thing in F-client which appears after a map change.

I am so glad I don't have to track a serverside problem that is sometimes there and sometimes not.

F-client is briliant and the dummy is really helpful for testing. I will just don't use it for awhile with my mod. (edited)

It seems that in usual scenarious without dummy there is no problems and I am happy about it.

You should really stick to vanilla client while testing, it's what you are looking to support after all

It's just nature of a mod that is it starts only when there are two players. And it's hard to switch between two teeworlds clients even when they are windowed because of mouse grab.

The current extended protocol of ddnet server info should have a token handshake. You might think about "what about vanilla info requests or the old protocols that we still support?" and I say we should rate limit those. In case of an attack we should not send the other formats to the clients, but only allow the handshake one for latest ddnet clients. The handshakes can be analyzed and filtered, normal requests just respond with the serverinfo packet directly...

Currently, this just shows the current map in the status. Might need localization data in Steamworks to be available to work in languages other than English. CC #2642
