go to the map called Delirious and meditate at the shrine of bixes for 24 hours.
if the lights start flickering, consider yourself lucky. bixes spirit will be there listening to your wishes
so I am getting banned for 30 minutes for doing a part in a different way that it is supposed to be? @murpi better check before listening to players like ryozuki. i think ddnet learned in the past that he is not the most reliable person x)
first you threw klex into a pit while he was spec, second you intentionally killed Dr.Anal, then continuesly blocked pushmymush while they were doing the part as intended(edited)
Porposal: create a rule that all maps given to ddnet will from now on be released under some license, which the mapper agrees with by submitting the map
I dont understand why ddnet doesnt start releasing licensed maps. there is a space for it right in the map info which could be filled in automatically. sure, there are like 2000 maps which have no license on them already, but its better to start now then never.
Porposal: create a rule that all maps given to ddnet will from now on be released under some license, which the mapper agrees with by submitting the map
this would also be much more in line with how ddnet & teeworlds handles copyright
@Patiga I guess we just never found a license the last time

It's an unusual setup, we want the right to host it and use it in promotional materials, but the mapper shouldn't need to give up his rights to it either

Is there some license that allows that you know of?
The Steamworks SDK is incompatible with some open source licenses, which may affect your ability to distribute open source software via Steam.

Which Open Source Licenses are problematic for shipping on Steam?
Generally, any license that has a so-called “copyleft” element will be problematic when combining code with the Steamworks SDK. The best-known example is GPL.
But I saw a GPL-licensed application on Steam!
This can happen if the author of the code that is GPL-licensed has given the permission to do so. The author can of course always (a) decide to grant Valve a different license than the author grants everyone else or (b) decide that what the Steamworks SDK does is just a communication with a service that does not invoke the copyleft requirement of the GPL.
