Tomorrow is the European election, please go vote and as a scientist I can just say: Don't ignore the science in the globally most important topic.
The climate change is happening, and the amount of carbon left to reach the 1.5C° limit is used in around 8 years in a medium estimated case.
Just as your computers and mobile phone use scientific knowledge, and You are using them, because you trust the science to work, because it's logic and deterministic; you also need to believe the houndret thousends scientists including nobel price winners.
Other than our parents and grandparents, most of the students learn such things in school, it's important to share this knowledge and teach your family and friends.
You should defenitely inform yourself about this situation and consider it when electing a party.
Other than your local government, the EU parlament is a great oportunity to give this topic a place. It's a global problem and Europe is a big part of it.
