@Moderator so the baning function on a server, is it "allowed" to "abuse" that? I just played on a server with very few players, a couple of russians left me and failed later on. everyone but one left, and when I caught up with them the last guy started talking to the other few russions on the server and conviced them i had blocked him, so they vote banned me halfway through the map, simply because i wanted to do the part with my dummy instead of with him, is that okay behaviour?

@n000b maybe some update to the voting function? Its quite abuseable, or just outright ban people that abuse it etc? Seems like there are plenty solutions

How would you even perform that update? To make it unable to ban blockers?

We already have had a lot of complaints and this seems to be the most reasonable voting system. Only other option is to delete the whole vote system and that is even worse.

Im talking about something just like the current ip filters, like only giving voting abilities to people envolved, like only letting people close to the voter make votes etc

Well that could be an improvement but what if only 1 tee is close to you. He can easy kick you or never kick you.

Im talking about only changing the proximity of the people allowed to vote, if you are only 2 people close by or on a solo server it would work the exact same as it currently does when fewer people are on the server. The difference would be that only affected peoples vote matter when there are mulitple people on a server

This would even make the real votes more efficient when you play on full servers, you need like 32 votes to get anywhere? And half the server is afk. You cant get anywhere voting on those servers. this would fix that as well

I think a more reasonable change would be to lower the required yes/no percentage on full servers

Changing the vote from a majority doesnt really solve anything though, since people still funvote, which would be the oppsite of getting kicked for blocking. Lower the votes and you get more people unfairly kicked by funvoting

I don't get what is ur point maybe D:

if a player doesnt vote that's considered a "no" instead of just an abstention. this way even if most people pressed f3 but that's not the 50% of total players, the vote will be considered as a no even though there were more f3 than f4. it would be better that when the vote time expires (cause neither f3 or f4 got 50%) the final vote will be based on the relative percentage between f3s and f4s, excluding abstentions.

changing how votes work will give advantage to trolls, they are the first to figure out how to cheat it and mods take a lot more to fix it

That would mean they have even more advantage now since they have had time to develop mods? Wouldnt it be the opposite then, changint how the vote works is the best way to counter trolls
