There is no way of registering nicknames or changing them right? I've been having some issues lately, some bunch of kids started to play ddnet and one of them used to nick the same as me on some other mod he claimed, and therefore he and his friends think I need to change. I don't really care that much for him and I sharing the same name, the issue is that he does. So every time he and his friends joins the server I'm on, they start to vote kick me for fakenicking. I don't play with permanent friends so getting outnumbered votes is not to hard. Which is quite irritating. I don't know how to solve this issue, I've been playing with this name for 7 years and have acquired a handful of points I rather not throw away. It also feels quite annoying to simply give these points to him just because he thinks he can own the nick over the entire internet. I'm quite skeptical that he has been using this nick for long as he recently start playing DDnet, I've done a couple of runs with one of his friend back in the days. It feels like he just thought I'd quit playing and wanted to start of with some points instead of gathering them himself. Do anyone have any ideas on how to solve this issue? Any tips that could be useful?
