i am not here to start a conflict i am just mentioning that in the case of a chat spam no moderator is needed because mods take time to join and spammers mostly stop after a short time so that mostly is pretty usless anyways. And as i said already muting someone who is a happy chatter might also have negative conequences

i am not saying that we should promote spamming and nobody should mute them. I just mean that it is a nice feature to give every tee on the server to choice who they mute client side and try to avoid enforcing it serverside

The reconnecting thing is a problem because server messages cant be muted @Ryozuki i implemented something in ddnet++ agianst it and i also made a pr for ddnet but i think heinrich disagreed on it so ddnet is not protected agianst it yet as far as i know
