If I was a dev here i'd make it so if the server has received more than 5 packets in like 5-10 seconds then stop receiving packets and enable some kind of a mode that allows users connect every 10 seconds

oh i thought it supported other ports

there is specialized hardware that detect invalid TCP traffic, cloudflare also monitors a lot of the internet to collect a list of ips that generate malicious traffic
