@heinrich5991 Intellij while a very decent IDE it really is a memory-hog it easily takes up 2-3 gigs

Java is quite fast nowadays but when working with low latency applications or very high volumes quite-fast - raw-speed grows very quickly

the lax nature of these languages and their reliance on a GC makes them very prone to be memory hogs

also generally the performance comparisons you get between the language conveniently take out the java startup time and the JIT getting used to the patterns, yet the users experience the startup time

I don't Know If i did something wrong but i once used newlines in a console application in in Java to refresh the "frame". And you could see the text moving slowly up. With any Other language it looked like a clear screen
