i compiled newest ddnet source and put the client in the ddnet-11.0.3 folder i downloaded from ddnet.tw but i get an error on start http://puu.sh/zDaAL/cc7f4d1d49.png

are you sure its the same bit type? 32, 64 bit

This adds the possibility to execute bash or BATCH commands in the client console. It can be used to run .sh or .bat files via bind and speedup tasks like starting local server. Idea by fokkonaut https://forum.ddnet.tw/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=5769

Ah, I scanned all maps for non-existing entities, but of course I couldn't find the ones that didn't use to exist but now exist

But is this really a problem?

  • provide all ddnet servers with players over https with a few possible filters (ddnet, global)
  • should update at least once a minute, maybe every 10 seconds?
  • ping could still be requested per ip in client
  • in json format, client can parse it for internet and ddnet tabs
Advantages:
  • Much faster to refresh with slow internet connections
  • Server hosters don't know players ip just from server browser use, was often used for DoSing (but for ping we'd still need to send a udp packet ...
