Ddrace is simply no mod for true beginners, so there's no need for such maps. Also you can only learn ddrace by playing maps which are actually too hard for you. Additionally beginnermaps always have too much Tele and suck anyway. Ddrace without the option to fail is a joke.

why dont add some absolut beginner maps without tele?

It is always the same struggle when you want to show some friends teeworlds and you want to start with ddrace.

Don't start with ddrace then and let them learn the basics of the game first

some ppl get bored really fast of Vanilla. But expirienced that ddnet is pretty addicting to beginners because they want to get the part done

There are some maps that i consider myself a tutorial to ddrace

Easier oldschool maps pretty much do this job as the average player was much worse but it was still intended to be challenging and often challenges the player in ways equally difficult for both beginners and experienced players

because hooks is really hard in the beginning

maybe make a map that spilt up right at the beginning. like the menu in spaceiskey but good. one way is for those familiar with teeworlds physics and just want to learn about ddrace and its tiles. and the other way is for starters (after the end of the starterway its going to lead you to the ddrace tutorial
