I think, forcing spectating can be weird. Maybe the guy would like to start new "round". But then he has to wait for the rest of the team, since he finished map
The game crashes when I update the tab of DDNet server list, on main tab "Internet" this issue is not observed.
Version of the game 10.8.6 x64
Linux Manjaro x64 OS
In the logs the last lines are:

Now I have downgrade the game version to 10.7.1 x64 and this problem is not observed
