how do people get motivation to create maps?

i've lost mine completely but I want to make maps again with full energy

i am mapping, because somebody has to make good maps. i suggest to find ur own motivation. well i think it is often narcism or the wish to create something.

I mean, I already am pretty much one of the best map creators, if not the best. I have nothing to aim for

I think it is less boring, if you are not alone

I guess it makes sense that a DDNet mapper wouldn't get my struggles since all DDNet designs are pretty much just the same tilesets and backgrounds just with different colors

And you don't know my struggles about gameplay. Yes that shit is boring, we would need bots for that. One reason why i don't do these designs is, that it is annoying to make. You could search other objectives. Now you did alot about design, try to be the best at other topics of mapping, so you are challenged.

u can choose one part out of a novice map and it will be in another novice map

You can still let old parts feel new if you are a good mapper. Just look at Maui Wowie 2, only already existing parts, but still a fresh map Kappa
